Venuestar Review With polished floorboards and glass bifold doors that open into the outdoor seating area, the Kent is a modern venue for the modern Carltonite. One end houses the kitchen, around which diners choose meals from a blackboard which has been written with the usual casual but stylish chalkmanship. Funky beats play and there is an industrial gas heater both inside and out and a big steel fan to cool the crowds. Outdoor Area / Beer Garden When weather permits, patrons of the Kent are likely to gather outside in the fenced off area under big white umbrellas, enjoying the view of the park across the road.
