Venuestar Review Named with reference to the county called Cork in the South West of Ireland, The Corkman boasts the usual Irish fare - Guinness and whatnot on tap, Irish bands most nights, Irish paraphernalia about and a very cosy vibe. The layout consists of a small beer garden, a standing-room style front bar and a sprawling split level main area complete with kitchen and a couple of open fireplaces. With a crowd comprising local workers and university students and staff, the atmosphere is never overly corporate. Thumbs up to an all round good, unpretentious drinkery! Outdoor Area / Beer Garden The narrow but welcoming beer garden provides a sunny escape for lunchers and the like. Julie Whiting
