We are told that the James Squire trademark dates back to 1806, when First Fleet convict James Squire built his Brewery, The Malting Shovel Tavern, on the shores of the Parramatta River. Today, more than 150 years later, his legacy is here for all to enjoy, in the form of delicious and varied ales in this stunning venue.

The Brewhouse is glass a'plenty on both levels, providing stunning views from the city skyline to the Bolte Bridge and beyond.
