Venuestar Review The First and Last Hotel is a really well done saloon bar theme, like the old west days.
Step inside, and - a ha! A family dining area what looks to be the cosiest bistro on all of Sydney Road. A nice wooden feel, a great children's play area, and you even need to wait to be seated. Now that's a step above the usual standard. And guess what: the prices are less than you'd expect. How about that.
Wander around the corner, and you'll hit the bit the families probably never see: the sports bar. There's no more western theme here, but to compensate it's much more old school and well popular. Simon Woodhouse

Readers' Reviews The servise was great and the food was great value. There were a couple of items on the menu that you dont see at your average bistro... thank god for something new! The kids loved it and so did i because they ate for free. Very friendly, warm atmosphere and the food was fantastic. Aurelio, Niddrie, 11/11
