Venuestar Review Bridie O'Reilly's, an Irish pub, is the ideal venue to go to if you want to have a few beers and a chat. The building is an old church, and looks stunning from the outside.
The relaxed atmosphere that has become a characteristic of all of the Bridie O'Reilly's pubs also make it a lively venue to visit on the weekend and a good place to meet friends for drinks.
Since there aren't many old fashioned pubs in South Yarra, Bridies is a favourite destination all nights of the week. Outdoor Area / Beer Garden The large beer garden out front is extremely popular on Saturday and Sunday afternoons during spells of warm weather and is the ideal conclusion to (or break in) a day of shopping in Chapel Street. Readers' Reviews Excellent place. The old church is amazing. Lots of Irish knickknacks & posters on display. So many different types of beers, I lost count. Chef in the kitchen makes excellent meals. The homemade pie & pint is my absolute favourite (pie so good I did not even put sauce on it). Fantastic front beer garden to watch the girls go by. Mixed male & female clientele, lots of interesting people. I even had a chat with an interesting Irish guy. Big screen teles for all sorts of sport/music. Danny, Woy Woy NSW, 01/10
