Venuestar Review Climb up the rickety stairs and this well-kept secret of students and those in the know, won't disappoint. One of the first venues to adhere to the current 'humble retro' trend of old, mismatching furniture, Sahara also has special vintage touches, like a fully-operational, sit-down space invaders game and an old turntable. Apart from that, there's a coffee machine, light meals and alcohol a' plenty. With the (concealed) front windows which overlook Swanston Street wide open when the weather is good, it's a people-watcher's delight. Julie Whiting
