Venuestar Review East meets West in this quirky bar influenced by a mixture of cultures. The first thing one encounters upon entry to Sentido Funf is the main bar, where during busy times, drinkers prop on bar stools to soak up the vibes in comfort.
The adjoining room is similarly decorated in chintzy Baroque style, complete with old fashioned wallpaper and a fountain. You could be forgiven for settling down here and soaking up the rich atmosphere into the wee hours, but not before you check out the annex - a more contemporary, less cluttered area with its own bar and beer garden. Oriental is the order of the day out the back here, with a weeping cherry blossom tree inside to create some good Feng Shui.
Some beats play on weekends and when things get wild the back area can transform into a dancefloor. Otherwise social banter is the main form of entertainment. The Sentido Funf crowd is a diverse one, consisting of groovy students and professionals of all ages. The 'just turned 18' types seem to steer clear though, because Sentido Funf is an experience to be savoured. Outdoor Area / Beer Garden Large, florid and kitsch is this fantastically colourful beer garden. Julie Whiting Second Opinion Well worth the trek to have a look at, Sentido Funf will often have more action out in the back beer garden area than inside the front bar. DJs and a small dancefloor in the beer garden section liven things up, and heaters keep the cold at bay. Mark Davies

Readers' Reviews The cocktail bar has a lovely, drapey roof and a dragon in the dining area so these coupled with the carpet and textured walls gives you a feeling of being in a movie set - or an opium den! It is also worth checking out the pretty glass room with the tree in it and the garden. Belle, Richmond, 10/11
