Venuestar Review Look out for the soft blue (nameless) signage, as it heralds a welcoming, sensual environment you can slip into like your cosiest flanelette pyjamas or sexiest of silk shirts.
Blue Bar's narrow space is warmed by orange hanging lamps, a rustic fireplace and the buzz of conversation. The interior is a funky combo of 80s style wood panels and painted brick. An outdoor area at the front serves patrons well in warmer months, or when the Chapel Street people-watching is just too good to miss.
The clientele is a hip, mixed bunch, in keeping with the down-to-earth, underground vibe Blue Bar has maintained for years.
Open all day every day, the venue has a good late crowd too, who enjoy the (almost) nightly DJ who sets up shop on decks next to the bar. Julie Whiting
