Venuestar Review Much loved pub that people seem in unison to thank great management for - in this case, a group of mischievous and fun-loving ladies. The range of beer is interesting and varied, and the various piles of clutter give a homey and cosy feel. A rare find was the table tennis room, which we had a go at for good measure. Look out for the food and band area as well. It's not central to Collingwood, but worthy for the trek. Outdoor Area / Beer Garden Upper and lower beer gardens. High on the cosy scale. The city views from the rooftop are great. Live Music Venue Live music several nights a week in the dedicated band area. Pool table, pinny machine, table tennis, comfy chairs and good music with friendly spunky staff that can give you a beer from any corner of the world you desire ..... But the food!!! OMG 3 words. TO DIE FOR!!... every time I go there I just want to run into the kitchen and kiss the chef. Do go and have a meal, you will not be disappointed. Strongly suggest the gnocchi ragu. Readers' Reviews The Fox has so many comfy areas to sit with a big outdoor area. It's great to find a pub that is warm, cosy and welcoming (and I've been to a few!). And although this might sound vaguely daggy, there are lots of games for adults to play (Trivial Pursuit, pool, table tennis) if you just want to chill out on a lazy Sunday arvo. Naomi, Abbotsford, 09/08 This is a great pub run by 3 lovely ladies. The food is fantastic and they've recently upgraded their entertainment system. There's a huge screen and projector so you can hold a party there and play a dvd. The sound system's been improved and there's more and more great local bands playing every week. There's also several specials on food throughout the week.
I highly recommend this pub, it has a great atmosphere, couches, pool table, open fireplace, rooftop, everything you'd want in a pub! Jana, Kew, 08/08
