Readers' Reviews From the outside Miss Libertine looks like an unassuming workers pub, what with the heritage listed frontage and horse trough on the footpath (it used to be the Cobb & Co stables!). In fact inside it cool, chilled at not at all pretenious (think Revolver without the skinny-leg-jean-clad posers!). The beer taps are varied, the wine list quite good and the food... I've only ever had the pizzas here and I gotta say - best pizza in the area. The pizza menu is $5 all day weekdays (till 6, I think). The bases are thin and crispy and toppings generous. It tends to attract a slightly older crowd after work (older as in 30-35) the days tend to be full of young trendy things and the builders working on the developments all up and down Franklin St.
The staff are really friendly and it's a great place to come and relax. The back has a nice venue area and I believe they have electro and hip hop nights on Friday and Saturday. Fiona, Balwyn, 02/07
