Venuestar Review Tony Starr's Kitten Club is a city bar with a throwback to the 50s and 60s clubs of Melbourne. Once you have found the door on Little Collins Street, walk up the wooden staircase and you'll find a friendly bar full of office workers having a drink or groups of chatty people sitting around doing exactly the same thing! It gets packed on Friday nights. The layout consists of chairs and tables packed together in the main room, a long bar and a dining area. An upstairs section will have bands and potentially some dancing, and a special 'love lounge' is an explosion of plush red where lovers can sneak away to canoodle. The female loos also have a very plush powder room worth checking out. Basically, this is an ideal bar to pop in to for a quick drink and a chat. We are yet to find a place that serves a better vodka and cranberry juice. Lush Green

Readers' Reviews Fab place in Melbourne to have a chat with friends over pretty drinks and jazz/house music. The crowd is eclectic (e.g. uni students/corporate types/rockabillies/people dressed in 50s costumes) and friendly - definetly no bogans here. It gets very packed some nights.
