Venuestar Review Trendy but comfortable bar that feels somewhere between a converted church and your mate's dream living room. The sauna style wooden roof meets warm red brickwork covered in furry objects and waterfalls. Follow all that? Either way, it's a fine establishment that will pull in those that want a little more to their night than sticky floors and pool tables.
During the week couches scatter the room and table service is the order of the day. On the weekends the venue turns in to a club proper - Friday things go ballistic as the younger crowd moves in to dance away, and Saturday the traditional older crowd takes over for their own boogie. Mark Davies

Readers' Reviews Quite a nicely laid out venue but security seem to let just about anyone in as the 'clientele' were a bit rough to say the least. A couple of half decent beers though. I am sure they could do better. Frankie, Brunswick, 02/11 A fantastic venue. The crowd is mixed and great, ranging from 20 to 40 year olds and is a good mix of male and females. The lighting is low but not dark like a nightclub. The front bar is a good place to escape if you are after a more quiet and relaxed area to talk. The atmosphere is amazing on a Friday and Saturday night, that is when the Cubby House really goes off. During the week nights Cubby House is a great place to catch up for drinks or maybe a quick bite to eat. James V, Greenvale, 02/04
