Venuestar Review

Upmarket and trendy bar easily twice the size of its older cousin, the Red Hummingbird. The door staff keep patrons on the well-dressed side, and it all makes sense once inside, as seen by the fairly lavish fittings. A dedicated area for small meals and snacks is not often seen in a bar, so consider this as a possible dinner and drinks venue.

Outdoor Area / Beer Garden

Head upstairs and to a large half-covered rooftop bar area, with plenty of tables and seating to enjoy the views from.

Was at the EP last night... it truly is a beautiful venue!! Very funky and fun place, the rooftop bar is great and has a laidback vibe. Crowd was mostly an afterwork suit crowd downstrairs, more fun and casual on the roof. I had a great night and this would be a standout venue for me if not for the slow bar service. A few more bar staff would make all the difference..... maybe we were there on an exceptionally busy night.

Another addition to the birds of colour, the Emerald Peacock is a stunning blend of everything you want in a venue. Dining Hall, Cocktail saavy barstaff, opulent decor, MASSIVE ROOFTOP and friendly faces. Last night was their soft launch and most people couldn't sit still, you just had to wander around the impressive doubled leveled venue and at every corner was a WOW. The furniture was a mixture between Moroccan and Baroq, colourful contrasting wallpapers filled with, you guessed it, peacocks. Similar to the day beds of it's sister venue, the Red Hummingbird, Emerald has built large booth type seating across from the main bar that will sit groups up to 8 comfortably. Smoothly polished concrete floors in the main bar with partition beams breaking up the space. The DJ is tucked next to the stair case that leads up to the rooftop. You emerge in the centre of the rooftop with the large bar to your left and enough room for 200 of your closest mates.
