Venuestar Review The spacious room with tables, chairs and giant TV screen you see as you walk into the Glenferrie Hotel is not all this popular pub has to offer, there's much more - a dancefloor, live music, pool tables and a second spacious room with more tables and chairs.
If a quiet pub is what you're after this is not the place. More often than not the Glenferrie has every one of its chairs filled, cheerful chatter coming from each corner and plenty of clinking of glasses. It's a lively pub with a lively crowd and very welcoming to newcomers. Outdoor Area / Beer Garden An outdoor drinking area is quite popular. Live Music Venue Live bands feature Thursdays through Saturdays. Claudia Kane Second Opinion A beer drinker's paradise with rows of beer hall style tables that greet you, moving on into several more rooms where the emphasis is on fast bar service and chatting with your mates. A rather distant back area houses several pool tables where things can get seriously down to business. A band area features, too. Simon Woodhouse

Readers' Reviews Tuesdays at the Glenferrie are an absolute must for anyone wanting to save their pennies and enjoy a loud, busy and freindly pub. The "tight arse Tuesdays" drink specials are great with $8 jugs and $4 basics making a great night for everyone and complimented by the DJ playing everything from Bon Jovi to the latest house music. C, Camberwell, 01/07 The thing that I would defenetly revisit the Glenferrie for was the live band, Sea Monkeys. These guys are not only talented but extremely hot. The lead singer was gorgous and I had the chance to speak to him after. These guys are normal and really nice. They played a great variety of music and all of my friends and I were impressed.
