Venuestar Review Picture what you would define as a beer hall. Now, tone down the revelry somewhat, add a dining touch and imagine a sophisticated and slightly arty crowd in place of drunken yobs. Not to mention more women than men given the right time of day.
That's Little Creatures in essence. There's no Bavarian flags hanging off the walls. Replace them with rather huge blackboards showcasing the beer, wine and meals.
We don't usually get involved with service and food as that tends to be rather variable. However, there's some interesting twists to the table service in that it is surprisingly efficient. Watch out for it. Also, there's some proper snacks on offer such as sausages and sauerkraut served in 'just right' portion sizes. You'll fulfill your craving for food without bloating yourself. Handy.
It's not all tables and chairs by the way. On busier nights a very mingly area tends to form at the front. Cruisy indeed. Simon Woodhouse
