Venuestar Review

Percy, a famous AFL footballer, is emblazoned on the outside of what is otherwise known as the Astor. Unaffected by Lygon Street's European chic, this corner pub is a no-frills experience. The front bar facing Elgin Street curves around to fill the room, where mostly locals and older folk prop and munch on 'bowls 'o chips'. The bistro, which you can enter from Lygon Street, serves a greater range of simple but tasty meals in a clean, bright room.
