Venuestar Review Willow Bar is a sleek yet sophisticated venue, befitting its position next door to The Regal Ballroom. Mood lighting through tree-branch lampshades, autumnal coloured walls, and a window garden contribute to the 'earthy' feel of the bar. The size of the crowd varies with the time of the week, but this venue is deceptively roomy and you're sure to find space. Whether it be drinks with a large group of friends on the lily pad inspired lounges up the front, or drinks with a more intimate group up the back, Willow Bar offers patrons the perfect setting. There is even room for a boogie should the eclectic mix of funky tunes being spun by the DJ behind the bar prove too hard to resist. Cocktails are a favourite here and the bar staff will happily whip up one of the house specials for the adventurous and indecisive. Carrie Lindsay Second Opinion Willow Bar has made a point of its interesting interior design. Tentacle-like seating with circular, neon-lit bulbous bits flow through the front room encouraging a social atmosphere. Even the half-pod intersected by the wall is made complete by a cleverly placed mirror. Confused? You might just need to check it out then!
Apart from that, Willow Bar has nicely placed foliage, intricate metal pressed ceilings, DJ and other music events, and a good drinks list. Yes indeed, the cocktails are impressive. Julie Whiting
